Our History
In the 40’s English had started in Egypt the industry of outdoor advertising and it was only neon lights and wall or wallpaper painting. Mr Roshdy Aziz after years working with the English, decided to start the first private sector company under the name of “Egyptian Production” for outdoor advertising to part the market with the governmental company “Al-Gomhoreyya”.
EP could attract a recognizable marketshare and contributing with the biggest names in Egypt by the time and the locations’ network with the geographic coverage got much bigger through the years joining a very important milestones in the history of EP and the Arab Republic of Egypt in general, as EP was the main producer for the outdoor signs of the 1952 revolution celebration campaign, and also the victory of 1973 outdoor celebration campaign.
EP was the root of two companies; PETRA outdoor agency is one of them, it was launched in the years 2002 located in Cairo-Egypt, carrying all that heritage with an ambition vision and forming the ideal market leadership by industry and business innovation.
